The USS Wersching (NCC-63328) was a Akira-class Federation starship operated by Starfleet. In 2401, it was on display at the Fleet Museum over Athan Prime. (PIC: "The Bounty") Between the time Commodore Geordi La Forge left the museum aboard the USS Titan, and his return aboard one of the Titan's shuttles, the Wersching was moved to a new location and replaced with the USS Pioneer. (PIC: "Vox")
The name and registry of this ship were provided by Dave Blass, who also stated that it was a special exhibit temporarily replacing the USS Pioneer at the museum. [1]
This ship was named after the late actress Annie Wersching.
