The USS Van Citters (NCC-72504) was a Federation Sovereign-class starship operated by Starfleet in the late 24th century.
In 2381, the Van Citters came to the aid of Douglas Station when it came under attack by the three ships of the Texas-class. Over the course of the battle, the Van Citters was incapacitated after its shields failed and it received significant damage to its primary hull and nacelles. The USS Cerritos was able to save the Van Citters from destruction by baiting the Texas-class vessels to itself. (LD: "The Stars At Night")
