Mrs. Tsing Tao was a member of the Starnes Exploration Party in 2268. She committed suicide while under the influence of Gorgan. Her corpse was discovered that year by James Kirk, Spock, and Leonard McCoy. (TOS: "And the Children Shall Lead")

Her attire was originally worn by Martha Leighton in "The Conscience of the King".
