Taylor Sheridan (born 21 May 1970; age 54) is an actor and writer who played Jareb in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "Chosen Realm". He filmed his scenes in the end of October 2003 and received credit as Tayler Sheridan.
Sheridan is probably best known for his recurring roles as Danny Boyd in Veronica Mars (2005-2007) and as Deputy Chief David Hale in the first three seasons of Sons of Anarchy (2008-2010), working with regulars Ron Perlman, William Lucking, and Jeff Kober.
Early in his career, Sheridan had guest roles in episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger (1995, with Noble Willingham and Susan Diol), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1997, with Joe Lando, Chad Allen, Barbara Babcock, and Frank Collison), Party of Five (1999, with Olivia d'Abo and Adam Scott), Time of Your Life (2001, with Gina Ravarra), and V.I.P. (2001, with George Takei, Mark Sheppard, and Jenna Z. Wilson) as well as Her Costly Affair (1996, with Gina Philips, Benito Martinez, and Amanda Carlin) and Bad News Mr. Swanson (2001).
Further credits include episodes of Strong Medicine (2002, created and executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg), The Guardian (2003, with Raphael Sbarge, Michael Ensign, and Richard Gilbert-Hill), 10-8: Officers on Duty (2003, with Mark Harelik and Dayo Ade), NYPD Blue (2004, with Gordon Clapp, Stephanie Erb, Ellen Geer, and Bari Hochwald), CSI: NY (2005, with Matt McCoy), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2005, starring Paul Guilfoyle, Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey, with Kristin Bauer, Jeffrey Nordling, Conor O'Farrell, Tina Lifford), and NCIS: Los Angeles (2011). He also had a featured role in White Rush (2003, with Tom Wright) and filmed the unreleased comedy Stage Kiss with Blake Lindsley.
Sheridan wrote the screenplay for Sicario (2015, co-staring Victor Garber). For his first screenplay, Sicario, Sheridan received several nominations from Film Critics Associations as Best Original Screenplay in 2015. Sheridan then wrote the screenplay for Hell or High Water (2016, starring Chris Pine). [1]
