- I don't think so. A temporal rift seems to be a natural occurring phenomena, while a temporal vortex seems to have be artificial. Kind of like the difference between a river and a canal. --OuroborosCobra talk 19:35, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree because In VOY: "Endgame" Janeway used the chrono deflector to open the rift. So it is not naturally occurring.-- Jmanyc 22:18, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
