Klingon Work Song[]

This episode features a great Klingon work song, which Worf keeps time to by banging on a console. Can anyone add the lyrics and translation to this article? JDspeeder1 22:41, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Look of the episode[]

Is it just my imagination, or do the episodes that take place aboard a Klingon ship look just a little grainy. There looks to be like a reddish-almost-haze over the entire thing. If so, I think it fits in perfecly, showing the "nice-and-neat" look of the Federation, as apposed to the "down-and-dirty" Klingon style. I will have to look at the episodes.     No, I would have to agree with you. There is definitely a grainy filter applied to all of the scenes that take place on the Klingon ships.

Martok reading the records[]

I think the lines where Martok is reading the crew records would make a great addition. The subtle humor of "insufficiently aggressive" ought to be appreciated by all.

You are free to go right ahead ;) - Enzo Aquarius 23:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

After First Contact[]

I'm going to remove this:

"Although he replaces the Mogh crest with that of Martok, Worf bears the Mogh crest in Star Trek: First Contact set after this episode."

According to previous stardates this episode is set after first contact AND there is a reference to the borg attact in "By Inferno's Ligth".

Martok Paraphrases General Patton[]

Did anyone else notice this? When Martok is criticizing the Jem Hadar, saying, "...nothing is glorified, nothing affirmed..." he is closely mirroring George C. Scott's criticism of another dehumanization of warfare - automated weapon systems, "...nothing is glorified, nothing is reaffirmed..." The latter is at 2:41:38 in the Amazon Prime version. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Spockvondeutschland (talkcontribs).
