On one day in 2381, T'im was scheduled for combat training. On the morning of, he spent considerable time cleaning his teeth on a mirror before he asked his comrades, Key'lor, G'reck, and Ma'ah to "save [him] a seat at lunch, unless I die an honorable death, then someone else can have it." When they turned their attention to teasing Ma'ah about sounding Vulcan, T'im joked, "Could you imagine serving with those biHnuchs? "Avoid death, and cower."" He then held up a Vulcan salute as they left to go on duty. (LD: "wej Duj")

He later served on the bridge after G'reck took over the ship from Ma'ah, and was taken prisoner when Ma'ah retook the ship. (LD: "The Inner Fight")
