Before the Strange New Worlds episode aired in 2023, the name T'Pril had been reused several times in licensed works for different purposes.
Star Trek: The Experience included T'Pril, portrayed by April Hebert, a 24th century professor at the Vulcan Science Academy and former Starfleet science officer.
The 2001 Pocket DS9 novel Avatar, Book One designated the name T'Pril's for the Vulcan restaurant aboard Deep Space 9 mentioned in DS9: "Indiscretion".
The 2016 Pocket TOS novel Elusive Salvation used the name T'Pril for a Vulcan Starfleet cadet serving on Jupiter Station in 2283.

Differing from the canonical episode, the 1989 novel Vulcan's Glory identified T'Pring as one of five siblings, with their unnamed mother having died circa 2243.
