Star Trek is the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Star Trek, bundled with the regular Blu-ray release of the film and a digital copy. The special features are the complete collection as included on the 2014 Star Trek: The Compendium release. [1]
The later UK and Japanese releases differed in this respect from the North American one, that instead of the two-disc Blu-ray film version, they had only the single-disc "vanilla" Blu-ray version of the film included. [2] All release versions came with their discs mounted in the standard plastic snapcase and packaged within the customary cardboard slipcover.
In the UK, a "Titans of Cult 4K Ultra HD Steelbook" box set retailer exclusive was released in November 2022, which contained the UK two-disc version in a collectable SteelBook® case, as well as Captain's log pocket notebook and a Vulcan greeting pin a premiums. [3] Beings a retailer exclusive in the UK, the set was offered through various online retailers, like Zavvi and Amazon, as imports in several other countries as well, such as the US, Germany and the Netherlands – in many cases with revised EAN-13 numbers on the language adapted cardboard back covers for each destination.
