A spaceport was a facility allowing space travel to and from a planet or moon. Spaceports could be space-bound, lunar, or planetary.

Argelius II was considered a tactically important spaceport by Starfleet. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold")

In 2371, Kira Nerys disappeared after having last been seen leaving a spaceport on Bajor, where she had gone to meet with Alenis Grem. (DS9: "Second Skin")

Neelix once suggested that Seven of Nine install drapes in her newly-acquired crew quarters, in case the ship docked at a busy spaceport. (VOY: "Human Error")

In the script for "Encounter at Farpoint", the Farpoint Station is identified as a spaceport. [1]

A scene that was in the shooting script of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Paradise Lost" mentioned a spaceport in the Texan city of Brackettville. Jake Sisko and Joseph Sisko were to take a transport from Brackettville to Mars.

A deleted scene from "The Expanse" had Becky afraid that Jonathan Archer may have a girlfriend in every spaceport.

Planets and Moons with known spaceports[]

The names Lunaport and Marsport might also suggest a spaceport function.
