Space law was a body of law which governed space-related activities.
In 2267 while Spock was on trial for mutiny, José I. Mendez was amazed at Spock's technical prowess in somehow showing events from thirteen years prior on a viewscreen. He congratulated Spock on his imagination, but stated that this was a court of space law, not a theater. (TOS: "The Menagerie, Part I")
