In 2259 of the alternate reality, Montgomery Scott compared James T. Kirk and Khan Noonien Singh's proposed space jump from the USS Enterprise to the USS Vengeance to "jumping from a moving car, off a bridge and into a shot glass". (Star Trek Into Darkness)
