Robert Consing (born 25 September 1970; age 53) is a Storyboard Artist who worked on Star Trek Beyond from March 2015. [1]

Consing has been working as storyboard artist from the early 1990s on. Among his credits are Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991, starring William Sadler), the drama The Rapture (1991), Super Mario Bros. (1993), Demolition Man (1993, with Bill Cobbs, Bob Gunton, Mark Colson, Kristopher Logan, and Tracee Lee Cocco), Terminal Velocity (1994), Batman Forever (1995, with Ed Begley, Jr. and René Auberjonois), Judge Dredd (1995, with Joanna Miles, Maurice Roëves, and Mitchell Ryan), The Rock (1996), Face/Off (1997), Armageddon (1998), Inspector Gadget (1999), and The Haunting (1999).

Further credits include Mission: Impossible 2 (2000) and Mission: Impossible III (2006, directed by J.J. Abrams), Pearl Harbor (2001), Swordfish (2001), Minority Report (2002, with Neal McDonough), X2 (2003, directed, written, and produced by Bryan Singer, starring Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn and Bruce Davison, and produced by Stan Lee and Ralph Winter), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, starring Kristanna Loken), Bad Boys II (2003, starring Gabrielle Union), Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), The Island (2005), World Trade Center (2006), Transformers (2007, written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Jumper (2008), Priest (2011, with Karl Urban), The Amazing Spider-Man (2011), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Iron Man 3 (2013), and World War Z (2013).

More recently, Consing worked as storyboard artist on Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014, with Whoopi Goldberg and Derek Mears), The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015), Furious 7 (2015, with Dwayne Johnson, music by Brian Tyler, cinematography by Stephen F. Windon, and costume design by Sanja Milkovic Hays), Jurassic World (2015, music by Michael Giacchino), and the comic adaptation The Sinister Six (2016).
