Reilling VII was the inhabited seventh planet in its star system.

In 3189, this planet needed more shields for protection from solar flares. Responding to the request, Federation Headquarters sent a starship commanded by Captain L'Teis Kardashev to assist them in getting more shade. (DIS: "Scavengers")
