Narisa beetle

The narisa beetle was a large chitinous insect native to the Akaali homeworld.

The Emerald Chain deployed land mines disguised as narisa beetles to defend the prison on Radvek V. The mines were not only explosive but could also launch a rotating saw blade at intruders. (DIS: "The Examples")
