In 2154, when Malcolm Reed was possessed by an Organian observer, he asked Doctor Phlox about his methodology when he was running tests on Charles Tucker III and Hoshi Sato, who had contracted a silicon-based virus while on an away mission. (ENT: "Observer Effect")
