The Marta community was a political region on the planet Malcor III, located on its southern continent.
In 2367, while working undercover preparing to make first contact, William T. Riker, while disguised as a Malcorian named Rivas Jakara claimed to be from this community. However, when his identity was being checked, his residential address was found to be an eating establishment, and the cook there had never heard of him. (TNG: "First Contact")
