The inhabitants of the planet Amerind lived in lodges. In 2268, before "Kirok"' could marry Miramanee, Goro explained that he had to "walk the holy path to the earth lodge" and speak to the priestess.
Some time later, Miramanee described Kirok's recurring dreams of the USS Enterprise as "the strange lodge which moves through the sky" When he claimed to still be having the dreams, she expressed her belief that they had ceased.

Nakahn lived in a lodge. In 2373, he informed Zahir that he could leave if he didn't agree with him. Later, Tuvok questioned Nakahn about an attack on Zahir, saying that since he was last seen at the lodge, Nakahn could have sent someone to do it. (VOY: "Darkling")
