According to StarTrek.com, Lamenda Prime's primary was named Lamenda Prime and was an Alpha Quadrant star. [2](X)
According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets III") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Lamenda system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The primary was a F-class star. In the reference works, Lamenda was spelled as "Lamemda". In the late 24th century, it was an independent system.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 452 located the planet near the Cardassian system.
