"Just in Time" was one of the songs Vic Fontaine sang in his holosuite program during the dinner show attended by Nog, Jake Sisko, and Jake's date Kesha. His performance was interrupted when Nog flipped over the table the trio were sitting at over, forcing Fontaine to kick Nog from the premises. (DS9: "It's Only a Paper Moon")

Lyrics[]

Just in time
You found me just in time
Before you came my time
Was running low
I was lost
The losing dice were tossed
My bridges all were crossed
Nowhere to go

Now you're here
And now I know just where I'm going
No more doubts or fears
I found my way

'Cause love came just in time
You found me just in time
Then you changed my lonely life
That lovely day

Now you're here
And now I know just where I'm going
No more doubts or fears
I found my way

'Cause love came just in time
You found me just in time
Then you changed my lonely life
That lovely day

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 395, this song was about a "despondent humanoid whose outlook on life was changed by romantic love."
