John Buonomo (4 May 193418 November 2006; age 72) was an actor who played the role of an orderly in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Requiem for Methuselah".

He was credited for the appearance in the Star Trek Concordance (1995 ed.; pp. 71, 216.), and his orderly character was described in the lexicon as: "One of McCoy's assistants in the search for an antitoxin prior to their locating the ryetalyn on Holberg 917G (RM)." His appearance was also referenced in the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., p. 406.

During the late 1950s, Buonomo worked in the script department of the radio station KFI Los Angeles before moving to assistant to the director in charge of sales promotion, advertising and publicity. [1] Around this time, from roughly 1959 to 1965, he was a member of the off-Broadway Hollywood Playhouse theater troupe.

Aside from his appearance on Star Trek, his only other known television appearance was the James Daly (also from "Requiem for Methuselah") series Medical Center (1969), also featuring Robert Lansing, and produced by Herbert F. Solow.
