Jack Sheldon (30 November 1931 – 27 December 2019; age 88) was a musician from Jacksonville, Florida, who portrayed the pianist at the Bourbon Street Bar in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "11001001".
He had a long career in the entertainment industry and has lent his talent as a trumpet player to many films. He was also a voice artist, best known for his work on Schoolhouse Rock!, and also voiced parts in The Simpsons and Family Guy, the latter created by Star Trek fan and guest star Seth MacFarlane.
