Huraga was a Klingon officer who participated in the Klingon invasion of Cardassia in 2372.
Huraga was an old acquaintance of Mogh, whom he used to sing drinking songs with by the 2340s and described as a "great warrior". At one point, Mogh saved the honor of Huraga's family during their blood feud with the House of Duras.
Before the invasion, Lieutenant Commander Worf called in this old debt by asking Huraga to tell him the Klingons' true plans. He informed Worf that the Central Command had been overthrown and replaced with the civilian Detapa Council, and the Klingons believed that the Founders of the Dominion were involved. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
Huraga was played by William Dennis Hunt.
The name of the character was not mentioned in dialogue, but is from the script.
The novel The Art of the Impossible mentions that Huraga served on the same vessel as Mogh.
