George Barr is a makeup artist who assisted the makeup staff for the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "The Way to Eden" by creating the body paintings worn by Doctor Sevrin and his followers. Barr lived with John and Bjo Trimble during the late 1960s, and was at the time a Screen Gems special effects artist.
Bjo recalled that Barr joined them the day she visited the set of Here Come the Brides. Here, they met Larry Abbott, a former colleague of Barr's, who had previously worked at Paramount on the episode "The Way to Eden", when, according to Trimble, "the extra makeup load required more craftspeople."
