Veridian II was the second planet in the Veridian system, in the Beta Quadrant. This ringed planet had two moons. It was not an M-class planet and had a yellowish hue from space. In 2371, the position and orbital path of Veridian II was illustrated in a system map displayed in stellar cartography aboard the USS Enterprise-D.
In an alternate timeline in 2371, Dr. Tolian Soran's plan to collapse the Veridian sun succeeded and the entire Veridian system, including Veridian II, was annihilated by the resultant shock wave. (Star Trek Generations, production art)
This planet's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of its star system as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "An Obol for Charon".
