Steven E. Einspahr (born 19 September 1962; age 61) is the actor who portrayed a teacher in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Hero Worship". He filmed his scenes for this episode on Thursday 24 October 1991 on Paramount Stage 9.

His only other acting credit is the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman episode "Strange Visitor (From Another Planet)" in 1993 in which he played a younger version of Superman's foster father Jonathan Kent. Other Trek performers in this episode are Teri Hatcher, Tracy Scoggins, K Callan, Jeff Austin, Joseph Campanella, and George Murdock. Einspahr studied acting at the California Institute of Arts and is also working as director. [1]

In 2000 Einspahr was part of the cast of the stage play "Merrily We Roll Along" and in 2004 of the play "The Bungler" at the West Coast Ensemble in Los Angeles. [2] [3] In 2010 he played Red Skelton in the play "Red Skelton's Christmas Special" at the Granbury Opera House in his home state of Texas. [4]
