Susan Raborn (born 8 July 1960; age 64) is a former actress who appeared as an Enterprise-D officer in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She was hired through Central Casting and worked on The Next Generation between August 1987 and August 1989. In addition, she was one of the stand-ins for actress Marina Sirtis.

Born in Texas, Raborn attended Louisiana State University, where she graduated with a degree in Journalism in 1981. She then attended Southern Methodist University and graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism in 1983. During this time she also appeared as a golden girl and tigress and worked as choreographer for the Louisiana State University Tiger marching band. Later she became a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys.

After working as a realtor in Texas for Henry S. Miller Brokerage, Raborn moved to California where she also worked as a realtor for Jon Douglas Real Estate until 1995 and signed with Central Casting. In the early 1990s she worked as an assistant to producer Brian Grazer and later worked as an administrative assistant to Fay Dattner Agency.

Having previously published articles in Seventeen magazine and the Texas Realtor magazine, Raborn wrote scripts for the daytime soaps Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless and co-wrote the script for the movie Powerplay in 1994. She also worked as a writer's assistant on the television series Something Wilder between 1994 and 1995 and Heart's Afire between 1998 and 1999.

Beside being an owner/shareholder for Pedicons, Inc., involving three pediatric clinics, and working as a certified mediator for her company White Dove Mediation, Raborn attended Southern University Law Center between 2010 and 2013 where she earned her Doctor of Law.

Today, Raborn is back in Louisiana and working as an attorney for Raborn Law, LLC and as a realtor for Keller Williams Realty Red Stick Partners. [1] [2]
