Figure drawing class was among the extracurricular art classes offered aboard Federation starships during the late 24th century.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Ensign Williams, and Lieutenant Wright attended a figure drawing class aboard the he USS Enterprise in 2366, where their subject was live model posing nude. (TNG: "A Matter of Perspective")

A similar class was given aboard the USS Cerritos during the early 2380s.

In 2381, Commander Jack Ransom once posed for a figure drawing class. (LD: "First First Contact")

Later that year, Lars Lundy explained that his figure drawing class needed "a skeletal boy" for their life drawing that afternoon, and inquired if Brad Boimler had "ever sat for oil" before. (LD: "The Least Dangerous Game")
