Cliff McLaughlin is a stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. For "The Killing Game, Part II", he filmed his stunt scenes with Tom Morga, Rick New, Jim Hart, Frank Lloyd, and Dennis Madalone on location at the European Street at the Universal backlot on Friday 5 December 1997.

McLaughlin is specialized in horse riding, weapon stunts, and cowboy performances. He doubled James Read and Patrick Swayze in the television mini series North & South (1985, starring Kirstie Alley, Jean Simmons, and Jonathan Frakes), Christopher Lambert in Why Me? (1990, with Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Pollard, and Tony Plana), again Patrick Swayze in Three Wishes (1995), Robert Redford in The Horse Whisperer (1998), and served as stunt double in the The Practice episode Day in Court (1999, with Ed Begley, Jr., Paul Dooley, Mark Sheppard, and stunts by Noon Orsatti) and on South of Heaven, West of Hell (2000, with Noble Willingham, Matt Malloy, and stunts by Joyce McNeal, Mark Chadwick, and Jimmy Ortega).

He served as stunt coordinator for productions such as Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997, with Kristin Bauer and stunts by Michelle Sebek and Anita Hart), the horror film Portal (2008, with Mary Stein), and One-Eyed Monster (2008, with Charles Napier).

Other films he performed in include Rambo III (1988, with Kurtwood Smith), Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989, with David Graf, Matt McCoy, and Gerrit Graham), Flashback (1990, with Paul Dooley and Michael McKean), Dances with Wolves (1990), Predator 2 (1990, starring Kevin Peter Hall), Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993, with Brenda Bakke, Miguel Ferrer, and Buck McDancer), Tombstone (1993), Heat (1995), Kiss the Girls (1997), both with Ashley Judd, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999, with stunts by Patricia Tallman, Lynn Salvatori, and Joey Box), Wild Wild West (1999, with Musetta Vander), America's Sweethearts (2001), Panic Room (2002), The Ring (2002, with Shannon Cochran), and Hostage (2005, with Jimmy Bennett, Michelle Horn, Tina Lifford, and Marjean Holden).

McLaughlin also appeared in several television series, including Little House on the Prairie (1980), Raven (1993), Walker, Texas Ranger (2001, coordinated by Lauro Chartrand), and The Practice (2002, with Bill Smitrovich).
