Cave bug

A cave bug was a type of insect found in caves.

In 2381, when away teams from the USS Carlsbad and the USS Cerritos were taking cover from their manifested nightmares in a cave on Jengus IV, a cave bug fell on Ensign Brad Boimler, causing him to become nervous. (LD: "Mining The Mind's Mines")
