Ambassador []
This ambassador was the diplomatic representative from Catulla to the Federation in 2269.
His son, Tongo Rad, was a follower of Doctor Sevrin, looking for Eden. It was because Tongo Rad was the son of the Ambassador that his entire group wasn't confined to the brig. He was exceptionally talented in the field of space studies, which his son inherited.
Upon the destruction of the Aurora and capture of those aboard, which included Rad, Captain James T. Kirk asked Lieutenant Palmer's to add a personal note to a communique regarding the incident, telling the ambassador that his son was safe. (TOS: "The Way to Eden")
