Catherine Black (born 9 December) is an actress who played Una's mother in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds second season episode "Ad Astra per Aspera".
She was born in Toronto and grew up in Owen Sound and Brampton. She made her theatre debut at the age of 16, playing Juliet in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
Black appeared in episodes of series such as Highlander: The Raven (with Alan van Sprang), In a Heartbeat, Manny Coto's Odyssey 5 (starring Peter Weller and Leslie Silva), Teen Wolf (with Maya Eshet), Lo$t BoyZ, and American Gangster: Trap Queens.
