Brian E. Oerly (born 9 November 1968; age 55) is a stuntman and stunt actor who served as stunt double for Jason Matthew Smith in the bar fight scene under stunt coordinator Joey Box in Star Trek. [1](X)

Beside his athletic and fight skills, Oerly is a certified ex-fire fighter and medic. He lived several years in Japan and is fluent in Japanese.

Oerly has doubled several actors, including Vin Diesel for the television spoof The Slow and the Steady, David Figlioli, Chuck Liddell in the television series Entourage (2007, under stunt coordination of Noon Orsatti and Spike Silver), and more recently Graham McTavish in Sylvester Stallone's sequel Rambo (2008).

His list of television performances includes Nash Bridges (2001, with Tracey Walter and Cress Williams, and under stunt coordinator Merritt Yohnka), Port Charles (2001), several episodes of Robbery Homicide Division (2002-2003, alongside Boni Yanagisawa and Lin Oeding), Crossing Jordan (2003, starring Miguel Ferrer and Jerry O'Connell, with Elle Alexander and Alicia Coppola), Scrubs, Angel (2004, with Rob Steiner), Charmed (2005, with Dennis Cockrum, S.A. Templeman, stunts by Craig Baxley, Jr. and Michael Hugghins, and directed by LeVar Burton), CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Miami, several episodes of Day Break (2006-2007), and Moonlight (2007, again under stunt coordination of Noon Orsatti).

Among his feature film appearances are the action drama Hot Parts (2003), the television movie Thunderdome (2003), the short film The Seventh Man (2003, starring Ken Lally), Starsky & Hutch (2004), The Longest Yard (2005), the drama The Last Stand (2006, under stunt coordination of John Dixon), What We Do Is Secret (2007, with Scott L. Schwartz and stunts by Shawn Crowder), Epic Movie (2007, with stunts by Joni Avery, David Mattey, Tim Sitarz, and Scott Workman), and The Third Nail (2008, with Wayne King, Jr., Robert Miano, and stunts by Jace Jeanes).
