Blu del Barrio (born 15 September 1997; age 26) is an American actor who appears in Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 and Season 4, portraying Adira Tal. Del Barrio is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. [1]
They are of Argentinian origin through their parents, and were born in and raised in Topanga, California. They have been acting since age 9, and also studied ballet. [2] Del Barrio attended the Crossroads School in California, and was a finalist for the 2016 National YoungArts Foundation awards in the theater category. They graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2019. [3]
They guest starred in the 2022 film The Listener, and in 2023 they voiced the character Dani Garcia in the video game Starfield, joining other Trek alums Armin Shimerman, Nana Visitor, and Tim Russ.
