Archanis

Archanis was an inhabited planetary star system in the Archanis sector of the Beta Quadrant. One of its planets was Archanis IV.

In 2256, this system's location was labeled on the star chart "Alpha/Beta Quadrant Overview" in the ready room aboard the USS Discovery. In the 2250s, the system was in the territory of the Klingon Empire. (DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad", "The War Without, The War Within")

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. This system's symbol was a red Klingon Empire logo, indicating its affiliation with the empire. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet", "Spock Amok")

In 2267, USS Enterprise helmsman Hikaru Sulu used Archanis as a reference point to plot the location of the Enterprise after it was flung five hundred parsecs by the Metrons. (TOS: "Arena")

The system's location was labeled in a Federation star chart that was in Fleet Admiral Kirsten Clancy's office at Starfleet Headquarters in 2399 and on the bridge of the USS Titan-A in 2401. The Archanis system was in or near to Klingon space. (PIC: "Maps and Legends", "The Next Generation", "Disengage")

In the late 32nd century, this system was located in the Klingon Zone. (DIS: "There Is A Tide...")
