Alex Kapp (born 5 December 1969; age 54) is an American actress who provided the voice of the Enterprise Computer in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Kapp was born and grew up in New York City to an opera conductor father and an opera singer mother. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, which she began as a member of the comedy troupe The Groundlings.
Since 1994, she has made appearances in several television series, including Party of Five (with Bruce French), JAG (with Stephanie Niznik and Jim Fitzpatrick), Seinfeld (starring Jason Alexander), Friends (with Ron Glass), ER (with Lily Mariye and Casey Biggs), Spin City (with Alan Ruck), Will & Grace (with David Doty), Happy Endings, and Two and a Half Men (with Amy Pietz).
In 1998-99, Kapp co-starred in the short-lived sitcom Maggie Winters, which featured Michael McKean, Henry Gibson, and Patrick Kerr in guest roles. From 2006 to 2010, she co-starred in the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine, where Scott Bakula, Ed Begley, Jr., Jack Kehler, Jason Alexander, Corbin Bernsen, Dan Gauthier, Adrienne Barbeau, and Daniel Roebuck guested.
She also had a supporting role in the 2005 romantic comedy Lucky 13 and co-starred in the 2009 comedy Weather Girl.
From 1995 to 2016, Kapp was married to producer Christian Horner and was credited under the name Alex Kapp Horner. Since her divorce, she reverted back to her maiden name.
