The 203-R was a type of generic control console utilized during the mid-23rd century.
In 2265, a 203-R from the Delta-Vega Station was removed by Alden and transported up to the USS Enterprise, where it was used to replace the console that was destroyed by the starship's encounter with the galactic barrier. After installing the 203-R, Montgomery Scott reported to James T. Kirk that "It fits like a glove, Captain." (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before")
