The 50 New Features Of Apple’s iOS 18 Update You NEED To Know!
More emphasis on iOS 18 Beta 2
The WWDC24 was a 1 hr 45 min long jam-packed event where Craig & co. — after a skydive — teased hundreds of new features of Apple’s next major updates.
Not lying — as an Apple fanboy, I was left in deep reverie, especially towards the second-half of the event. All I could say was just “Wow” as I didn’t know any better word to describe the event.
Next morning, there were a handful of features I’d recollect in the afterglow (the event’s between 10:30–00:30 here in India).
One of such features:
#1. iPhone Mirroring
And it’s out with Beta 2 of iOS 18 and macOS 15.
As you update your Mac, you’ll find this new app “iPhone Mirroring” in the Dock.
Here’s how to use it:
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both your iPhone and Mac.
- Lock your iPhone (You can keep it on StandBy if you want)
- Open “iPhone Mirroring” and authenticate yourself. (You can choose to authenticate automatically from next time.)
That’s it! You can now use your iPhone on your Mac.
