Read a book thoroughly

Reading is very convenient nowadays.
There are many books on the bookshelf at home, and even more in the school library.
There are even more in the county library.
Even on mobile phones, there are many good e-books.
However, it is difficult for me to calm down and finish reading a book now.
Even if the book I picked up casually is good, I often put it down after reading a few pages.
Even if I borrowed books from the library, I can’t read many of them completely.
Even if I have read the whole book, I often need to renew it two or three times.
I haven’t finished reading a small part of the books I bought.
Half of the reason why I read less is because I have too many things to do, and I like to check my phone when I have some time;
On the other hand, it is because I am old and forgetful. If I can’t remember what I read, I will lose interest in reading because of frustration.
The main reason why I can’t remember is that most of them are skimming, and I don’t remember them in the first place;
Even if I remember them, I don’t understand them deeply and forget them quickly;
