Medium isnโt an easy path for a writer who is just starting out, after so many years of saying โnoโ to a blank space or better said, being frightened by the idea of exposing herself online.
I started on Medium on October 21, last year. I had a humble but sure start.
I had known about the platform for a few years, but I didnโt dare until then to turn my ideas and inner turmoil into writing.
Until then, I had no idea that you can earn if you choose to write consistently. Going through such a difficult time, I decided to try my luck โ so to speak.
To make this clear, I wonโt show any numbers here.
So shy I started, that in the first month, not knowing how things were and what are the conditions on Medium, after a few articles written also very badly, I made only 20 cents.
I felt so awkward yet so faithful that things were going to get better in the future. But it all depended on me.
