A recent report has identified two new features in the Weather app. One of these features is expected to bring a minor design change and introduce the 'Feels Like' temperature in a more visible location for users.

9to5Mac has highlighted two updates to the Weather app on iOS 18 that could enhance its usability. As per the images shared by the publication, the 'Feels Like' temperature will now be displayed more prominently below the actual temperature at the top of the app's interface.

This adjustment will be a significant improvement from its current placement, where users need to scroll down to view this information. The 'Feels Like' temperature will reportedly be presented in a distinct size and font style to ensure easy differentiation.

The "Feels Like" temperature is a representation of the perceived temperature, taking into account factors such as relative humidity, wind speed, and air temperature. This provides users with a more accurate understanding of how the weather actually feels, in addition to the objective air temperature recorded by weather stations. The Weather app upgrade allows users to view both values simultaneously.

The Weather app in the upcoming iOS 18 update will reportedly introduce a new feature that enables users to conveniently check the weather in both their home and work locations.

This integration with Contacts will allow the app to automatically pull home and work addresses, adding them as new locations in the user's list of tracked weather spots. This will eliminate the need for users to manually add these locations for weather updates.
