Realme has launched its second tablet, the Pad 2, with a large and smooth display, a powerful processor, and a long-lasting battery. Here are the key features and prices of the new device.

The Realme Pad 2 has an 11.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2000x1200 pixels and a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display supports HDR10+ and DC dimming for better contrast and eye comfort. The tablet has a sleek metal body with a thickness of 6.9mm and a weight of 485g. It comes in two colors: Inspiration Green and Inspiration Grey.
The Realme Pad 2 has an 8MP camera on both the front and the back, with features like AI beauty, portrait mode, night mode, and panorama. The front camera also supports face unlock, while the side-mounted fingerprint sensor offers another biometric option. The tablet also has a smart assistant button that can launch Google Assistant or Realme UI’s HeyTap.
The Realme Pad 2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is based on a 6nm process and has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz. The GPU is the Mali-G76 MC4 with HyperEngine 3.0 gaming optimization. The tablet has either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
The Realme Pad 2 boasts four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which can deliver immersive sound for movies, games, and music. The tablet also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, and a SIM tray that supports LTE networks. The tablet also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC.
The Realme Pad 2 has a large 8,360mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of video playback or 10 hours of gaming on a single charge. The tablet also supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can fill up the battery from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes. The tablet also has reverse charging capability, which can charge other devices via the USB-C port.
The Realme Pad 2 runs on Android 11 with Realme UI for Pad on top, which offers a customized interface for tablets with features like split-screen multitasking, floating windows, app cloning, dark mode, and more. The tablet also comes with some pre-installed apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, WPS Office, Flipkart, and more.
The Realme Pad 2 is available in two variants: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The base model costs INR 19,999 (€215), while the higher-end model costs INR 22,999 (€250). The tablet will go on pre-order from July 26 and will go on sale from August 1 through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and offline stores.
