With less than ten days until the highly anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, preparations are in full swing for a spectacular celebration in Mumbai. According to reports from India Today, negotiations are underway to bring international music icons Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey to perform at the extravagant festivities, scheduled from July 12 to July 14.

The Ambani family, renowned for their opulent gatherings, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be a grand affair. Previous pre-wedding events for Anant Ambani, the youngest child of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, have already set the stage for lavishness. In March 2024, a three-day celebration in Jamnagar was followed by a luxurious cruise event in Italy and the South of France from May 29 to June 1. These events featured performances by global stars such as Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Pitbull, Guru Randhawa, and the Backstreet Boys, entertaining a guest list that included Bollywood luminaries like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt.

The forthcoming wedding festivities are anticipated to surpass previous extravaganzas. Anant Ambani, 29, and Radhika Merchant, also 29, are set to tie the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony spanning three days. The schedule includes 'Shubh Vivaah' on July 12, 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, and 'Mangal Utsav' on July 14, which will serve as the wedding reception.

Notably, the Ambani family has a history of hosting lavish weddings, most notably Isha Ambani's in 2018, which was dubbed the most expensive wedding in India to date, costing an estimated $100 million. The pre-wedding festivities for Isha's ceremony featured a memorable performance by American singer Beyoncé in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

As excitement builds around what is expected to be a star-studded event, the Ambanis continue to redefine luxury and grandeur in Indian wedding celebrations, drawing attention from around the world.
