I'm working on a massive mod, and I have figured out everything myself, but I have a roadblock.
So. I'm working on this strange armor. It increases speed drastically when sprinting and swimming. I am trying to make it slightly slippery whilst sprinting, but I don't know how. I have opened the code of Minecraft and also looked into some mods, but I can't figure out how to decrease the friction of the player, only blocks.
I'll continue trying, but some help or confirmation that this is impossible would be appreciated.
Have you found a solution, I've been looking everywhere. Even trying to see if any addons will work but I haven't found anything. I want to do something similar in the case of making a potion effect that decreases the friction of the player, but I've only found how to do that to an individual block. plz help
