Ahh, the Motorola Razr. Released in 2004, it became one of the most iconic gadgets of all-time and, until the iPhone, it was the world's best-selling cell phone.

And it could be making a comeback. That is, if a new teaser from Motorola is to be believed. As spotted by Engadget, the teaser takes us back to the halcyon days of flip phones and high school. Replete with imagery of teenagers SMSing on their Razrs to the sounds of Boys Like Girls' 2006 emoscape, "The Great Escape" -- if this ad doesn't give you tech nostalgia feels, I don't know what to tell you.

But here's where it gets interesting. The clip ends with a "TTYL" card and signs for users to stay tuned for June 9. That happens to be the day that Motorola is going to unveil all of its new phone hotness.

Could we see a return to the classic Motoroal Razr? A modern Android flip phone could be totally, totally hot.

This isn't the first time Motorola has resurrected the Razr brand. You may remember its attempts to sell Android phones under the Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx monikers in 2012.

That didn't really play. But you know what would play? A modern flip phone. We can only hope our high school dreams come true.
