Yeee-hah! It's one Australian dude's lucky night, and he'll cackle if he wants to.

Photographer David Finlay hit up Kiama, on Australia's east coast on Sunday night in anticipation of an Eta Aquarid meteor shower, and he wasn't disappointed.

The annual display of spectacular space-coolness was captured on an A7S and while green meteor tails light up the sky -- and while Finlay and his mate laugh and say "Woahhh!" and "Aww, mate!!" a lot.

Don't you wish Aussies would do the voiceovers on all impressive videos of space phenomena? Us too, mate. Us too.
