SAVE 10%: As of March 17, all three configurations of the Valve Steam Deck are on sale for 10% off as part of the Steam spring sale. Choose from the 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB models. The sale ends on March 23.

If you've been patiently waiting for Valve's Steam Deck to go down in price a bit before locking one in, today's your lucky day. The handheld gaming PC is on sale for the first time ever since launching a little over a year ago. It's finally time to claim one of these portable powerhouses, especially since all three models are discounted.

This Steam spring sale discount nets you 10% off each configuration: the 64GB is now $359.10, down from $399; the 256GB is now $476.10, down from $529; and the 512GB is now $584.10, down from $649. Each model comes with a carrying case, but some versions include extra upgrades. The 256GB comes with an exclusive Steam Community profile bundle, while the 512GB comes with premium anti-glare etched glass, an exclusive carrying case, the profile bundle, and an exclusive virtual keyboard theme.

The sale is going on through March 23, so you've got a few days to snag a Steam Deck at a discount. And if you're wondering whether you should, the answer is a resounding yes. Mashable reviewer Adam Rosenberg praised the Steam Deck for its ability to "turn on and play traditionally PC- or console-centric games" and its "Switch levels of approachability." If bringing your favorite Steam games to your couch, bed, or commute appeals to you, it's a no-brainer of a buy.
