UPDATE: Dec. 16, 2022, 10:25 a.m. EST This story has been updated with the latest Best Buy Deal of the Day. Here's a quick look:

  • DEC. 16 DEAL OF THE DAY: The vivid 65-inch Samsung Q70A QLED 4K Smart TV is great for next-generation gaming — $899.99 $1,399.99 (save $500)

  • STAY TUNED: Today is the first day Best Buy hasn't teased the following day's deal. Interpret that how you will.

Best Buy is counting down to the holidays with a series of gifts, only it's swapping the lords a-leaping and partridge-laden pear trees for one-off tech discounts.

Through Sunday, Dec. 18, the electronics store is hosting a 20 Days of Deals event comprised of a series of short sales on featured products across all departments. Offers go live around 1:01 a.m. ET every day and remain available for 24 hours or until they sell out — whichever comes first — with a limit of one per customer and no rainchecks.

Each main Deal of the Day is joined by various Bonus Deals of the Day, where the same time limit applies. (Today's are themed around Samsung, FYI.) Quick 4-Hour Deals staggered at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 9 p.m. ET have popped up on certain days throughout the event, too, in case you miss the chaos of Cyber Weekend shopping.

We'll be keeping track of all the Deals of the Day here for easy referencing, keeping a close eye out for any discounts that stay live beyond their scheduled windows. Below, you'll find Best Buy's picks for Friday, Dec. 16.

20 Days of Deals

Boasting a 4.7/5-star rating among over 1,100 BestBuy.com customers, last year's 65-inch Samsung Q70A 4K smart TV is a slim mid-range QLED display with high contrast, multiple built-in voice assistants for hands-free control, and a 120Hz native refresh rate that makes it ideal for next-gen gaming.

Best Buy has it on sale for just $899.99 (or 36% off its $1,399.99 MSRP — its list price there is deflated), with matches on Amazon and Samsung.com in case it sells out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Any items you've purchased at Best Buy that wind up being 20 Days of Deals picks can be price-matched at their Deal of the Day discount, with two important asterisks: The items have to still be eligible for Returns & Exchanges, and the price-matching has to happen while the Deal of the Day is still live and in stock.

Some fine print on the Best Buy website notes that there are "rare" occasions where members of its premium Totaltech program "may see a lower price on a Deal of the Day product before, during, and after a Deal of the Day sale." (Signing up for $199.99 a year gets you other perks like 24/7 Geek Squad support, product protection, and free two-day shipping, for what it's worth.) We'll flag these down if/when we spot them.

Best Buy previously said that it would only be selling the PlayStation 5 God of War Ragnarök Bundle in stores this season, but a one-day event on Wednesday, Dec. 14 made solo PS5s available (in limited quantities) on the Best Buy app. That was probably one of your only and last chances to buy it there not-in-person before the holidays.
