Everything Apple revealed at its October event

Another Apple event, already? Yep. Apple unveiled new hardware for the second time in less two months on Monday.

They included some products the internet expected back in September, such as new AirPods. There were also some puzzling releases, like an Apple Music plan that basically forces you to use Siri. Apple also spent a lot of time on its new M1 chips, and finally, the things those chips are running, the new MacBook Pro models.

If you didn't have time to watch Apple Event II: The Apple-ing, here's everything Tim Cook and the gang revealed.

1. New MacBook Pros powered by M1 Pro and M1 Max chips

See ya later, Touch Bar. Hello, more buttons and ports! Now you have your choice of charging options with the MagSafe or Thunderbolt ports, plus Apple is bringing back actual function keys instead of the Touch Bar.

Also, now the MacBook Pro screen has a notch.

Apple juiced up its regular AirPods for their third generation to give them spatial audio and a retooled design. Now they also have a longer battery life and are sweat- and water-resistant. The two whole inches of hardware cost $179. Learn more about the new AirPods here.

3. HomePod mini in fun new colors

The Siri-powered HomePod mini now comes in yellow, orange, and blue, along with white and space gray. We see you, Siri!

4. Apple Music Voice Plan

For some reason, Apple is offering a cheaper Apple Music subscription plan that only lets users access the service using... Siri?

Yep, you'll have access to the full Apple Music content library, but don't you dare try to use a keyboard or app to navigate. It only costs $4.99/month, though.
