Gayatri is the daughter of Police Inspector Singh and a particularly classy teenager living in Mumbattan. She is the girlfriend of Pavitr Prabhakar, the two of them hiding their relationship from Gayatri's father.

During a massive calamity caused by a falling Alchemax Building, Gayatri was in a bus that fell from a bridge but was caught by the local Spider-Man. At the same time her father noticed a small child left behind and ran to pick them up. Spider-Man saw it but was unable to let go of the bus he was still holding. Luckily, another Spider-Man showed up just in time to save both Singh and the child. Mumbattan's Spider-Man pulled the bus up and Gayatri she ran towards her father, who thanked the Spider-Man for a job well done.^[1]

• Gayatri is an Indian version of Gwen Stacy, in contrast to the Earth-50101 version of Pavitr Prabhakar, whose love interest, Meera Jain, is an Indian version of Mary Jane Watson.
• She was initially named "Gayana" during the design stage.^[2]
